Ever feel like there are not
enough hours in a day?
You’re stretched between,
work, family, errands, and
meetings and on and on that
you feel like you have no
time for you.
Well, while on the job, here
are some quick getaways
just for YOU!
1. Visit a nearby nail salon for a manicure, pedicure or both.
2. Call ahead to a nearby Spa and get a 30 or 45-minute massage.
3. Job not near any areas above, then grab your Ipod or MP3 player and take a walk. This will clear your mind and the lungs.
4. Nearby coffee shop? Bring along that book you’ve wanted to read or your favorite magazine with a good cup of Joe!
5. Take a nap! Head to a quiet area in the office, or to your car (lock the doors). Set your alarm on your cell phone or tell a coworker to wake you at a certain time. Put your head back and catch some Zzzz’s! Studies show a nap at work reduces stress at work and keeps down heart attacks.

Holidays
While the holidays are wonderful for most, it’s hectic for us moms! The planning, the cooking, home décor, being the hostess, the cleaning up…yikes! This season, say to yourself “It’s all about ‘me’!” and make it about you. Don’t stress over it, make these holidays stress less, that way you will have more time to get your hair and nails done and even a massage. Here are few tips on making it all about you.
If having family and friends over, start early with preparations, purchasing groceries, home decorations etc. Don’t wait until the last minute and get caught in the awful lines. If cooking is not your forte, prepare the main item of the menu and have that favorite relative (mom, in-laws, grand mom, aunt) who loves to cook to bring the rest.
When in doubt, go out! Many restaurants are open on the holidays. Call to make your reservation. This is my all-time favorite and a family tradition. All that needs to be done is get dressed and show up for a delicious meal!
Bon appetite!
